Joint Strategic Needs Assessments (JSNA)
Dr Foster Research's (DFR) Trailblazer Partnerships Programme focuses on the specific responsibilities of the Director of Adult Social Services for the Joint Strategic Needs Assessments (JSNA) to help you:
- Undertake a strategic needs assessment
- Identify and meeting individual needs
- Promote social inclusion and well-being
- Lead a whole systems approach to supporting communities
- Co-ordinate integrated workforce planning
DFR's ultimate goal is to provide Local Authorities with the information they need to provide more cost-effective services delivering better outcomes for the whole population.
Trailblazer Partnerships have resulted in the development and application of analytical tools to help Local Authorities and their partners make a practical reality of Our Health, Our Care, Our Say goals:
- Better prevention and earlier intervention
- More choice and a louder voice for consumers
- Tackling inequalities and better access to services
- More support for long-term needs
DFR has led an intensive collaborative research with five local authorities: Greenwich; Isle of Wight; North-East Lincolnshire; Wakefield; and Wolverhampton.
